The rumour is rife in Abia State that the Federal Government has perfected arrangements to invade the State in order to install Uche Ogah despite subsisting court orders.
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu had filed an appeal against the sack order by Justice Okon Abang of Federal High Court Abuja last Tuesday. He also filed for a stay of execution.
In such a judicial development, it was expected that the Independent National Electoral Commission would exercise restraint for the judicial process to take its course.
But because the Chairman of the Commission, Mahmud Yakubu, had collected some money from Mr Uche Ogah, he went ahead to issue a certificate of return to him.
Meanwhile, intelligence strongly indicates that the Federal Government of Buhari has directed the security agencies to invade the state in order to facilitate illegal swearing-in of Mr Ogah.
It is equally important to let the world know that Governor Ikpeazu obtained a court injunction today; Thursday 30/6/16 restraining the INEC from doing what it did and the Chief Judge of Abia State or any other Judicial Officer in the State from swearing-in Mr Ogah.
If President Buhari goes ahead to use force to install Mr Ogah, who has promised to decamp to his All Progressives Congress, democracy would have finally been raped in Nigeria.
