UMUAHIA SOUTH PDP LEADERS/STAKEHOLDERS:
OUR RESOLUTION ON THE ABIA CRISIS

After another exhaustive meeting of Umuahia South Leaders and Stakeholders on the Abia Governorship crisis, we are here to show our support and solidarity and also affirm as follows:
❖ That we have implicit confidence on your governorship/leadership of Abia State.
❖ That we declare our unalloyed loyalty and support and commitment to your administration.
❖ That having witnessed the objectivity and fairness of the PDP Primary election of December 8, 2014 which produced you as the party’s flag bearer for the 2015 governorship election in Abia State, we unequivocally affirm that you were legally, constitutionally and duly nominated by our party, having satisfy all constitutional requirements vis-à-vis the PDP Guidelines and the Nigerian Constitution.
❖ That in line with the Electoral guidelines, you campaigned in all the Electoral Wards, Constituencies and Local Government Areas of the state and was voted for en masse and duly-elected.
❖ That we denounce the move by Uche Ogah to gain entrance into Abia Government House through the back door. His actions amount to staging a civilian coup d’etat in Abia State.
❖ That we condemn in its entirety the judgment of Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja for its one-sided nature and lack of proper legal research and ordering that Okezie Victor Ikpeazu be removed and Uche Ogah be sworn in immediately.
❖ That we condemn the issue of Certificate of Return to Uche Ogah by INEC.
❖ That we are aware and therefore commend the Judgment of Justice A.L Alagoa of the Federal High Court, Owerri that cleared Okezie Victor Ikpeazu of the tax forgery allegation and hereby adopt the Judgment.
❖ As far as the good people of Umuahia South are concerned, you, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, are our Governor. There is only one Governor at a time. We therefore urge you to continue the massive developmental strides going on all over the State.
❖ We once again affirm our unalloyed loyalty and support to your to God ordained administration. It will definitely end in Praise.
