BREAKING: Uche Ogah Vs Ikpeazu: Osisoma High Court Adjourns To September For Rulling

Justice C .H Ahuchogu of the Osioma Ngwa Division of the Abia State High Court has adjoruned till on the 19th of September For rulling on the Application by Counsels to Dr Uchechukwu Ogah challenging the jurisdiction of the Court to Order the Abia State Chief Judge not to swear in Mr Ogah as Abia State Governor.

At the resumed sitting of the Court today in Aba,Counsels to the President Of Masters Energy Dr Uche Ogah had challenged the jurisdiction of the Osisioma High Court to make such an Order,praying the court to vacate the order so that its client can be sworn in as the Governor of Abia State.

Their arguement were based on the fact that the Federal High Court Abuja and the Abia State High Court has coordinate Jurisdiction.

But Lead Counsel to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in the case Barr Obinna Nkume argued that since his client has filed an Appeal against the controversial Judgement of Justice Okon Abang,then Dr Uche Ogah should await the determination of his client Appeal.

The Presiding Judge Justice C.H Ahuchogu adjourned the case till on the 19th of September for rulling on the Application.
