A media aide to embattled Mr Uche Ogah, Peter Agba Kalu, has confirmed that indeed his boss was a frontline Ochendo boy and he is fighting Governor Okezie Ikpeazu because Ochendo did not abide by their agreement.

In a social media post he made yesterday night, the aide admitted that the fight was not against Governor Okezie Ikpeazu who is performing very well as Governor of the state but against his predecessor for breaking his agreement with Uche Ogah to make him Abia Governor.

“When Ogah harboured the intention of running for governor of Abia State, the first person he went to made known his intentions was Gov. T. A. Orji. This is a man that use to call Ogah, “my son”.

He had every opportunity in the world to call him aside and play a fatherly role  by advising him not to run.  That is, if he truly and sincerely had intentions of handing over to the Ukwa-Ngwa people.

No!  He didn’t do that. He rather showed excitement over Ogah ‘s interest and encouraged him to run. Since Ogah was a political new comer, he innocently request Gov. T. A. Orji to help him with someone that will led him. T. A. Orji in his crafty nature directed him to one Empire Kanu. The young man accepted and used him as his Campaign Director. Not knowing that he was a spy as he was relaying every decisions taken by the Ogah Camp to the government house.”

ABIA 2015: BLAME T. A. ORJI NOT OGAH.
A lot of people pointing accusing fingers towards Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah over what is going on in Abia State are missing the point. It’s either they are not truly well informed, ignorant of the facts or, they know the truth but political exigency won’t allow them to say it.
With What is going on today in ABIA State, every reasonable Abian, in fact, every reasonable Igbo person should be proud of Ogah and I will explain to you why.

ABIA State, God’s own state, my state is in this position it is today because her immediate past governor, now senator, T. A. Orji had every opportunity to play a fatherly role, but he failed to.

When Ogah harboured the intention of running for governor of Abia State, the first person he went to made known his intentions was Gov. T. A.

Not knowing that he was a spy as he was relaying every decisions taken by the Ogah Camp to the government house.

When in 2013, the Abia lecturers wanted to go on strike, over unpaid wages, the governor ran to Ogah and pleaded to be bailed out. Telling him that it will be to his political advantage if he can do something to help the state. Ogah as a result single handedly paid the accrued 6 months salary owed to ABSU  Workers.
After doing that, they must have laughed him at back thinking they were taking advantage of him. But, God and the people took note.

While 2015 was approaching, the same governor called Ogah and advise him to help the government to do youth empowerment. They sold him the idea that since he’s not verse into politics, it will help his political ambition. He  gave his State government money to purchase 350 vehicles to ease unemployment?  All these while, they didn’t remember zoning the governorship to Ukwa-Ngwa. And to show you how greedy they were, they went for very low quality cars against the budget Ogah funded. Not only that, the very purpose of  giving the cars for free to ABIA youths as a means of empowerment was defeated as they gave it out  on hire purchases.
Once more, they laughed at Ogah behind but, God and the people took note.
The point was that they under estimated the young man and thought he was another political miss road with too much money to throwaway.
They thought it was going to be business as usual.
They thought they will use state funds and power to scar him away.
When they were reaping him off, zoning didn’t matter.
When virtually all the so called Abia Elders, PDP leaders were trooping Onuaku, Ogah’s home town to collect funds running into millions from him and giving him solid assurance of support. Zoning didn’t matter.
I personally went round with Ogah to meet so many so called Abia Elders and we were well received and we dropped something. None  I mean not a single one of them from Ukwa, Ngwa, Bende, Aba etc talked about zoning.
They all gave us support and words of encouragement.
When Ogah went to pick PDP form they collected his N11m zone didn’t matter because indeed, there was no actually no zoning.
It will surprise a lot of people to note that even at the hit of the campaign Gov. T. A. Orji was still calling Ogah and giving him solid assurance and advising him to go meet so so and so person.
But, when the ever powerful son of the governor singled out Okezie as his choice, zone started mattering.
Ogah being someone that doesn’t back out when he is determined was not perturbed by all the hurdles they started bringing his way.
Believe me, the Ogah factor in ABIA politics is a very positive one because all these years it was like there’s no single man in Abia State.
At least we have a man with strong will power who can look the State authority straight in the face and insisted for the right thing to be done.
I understand my Ngwa brothers who felt that they are being denied of their opportunity but, the accusing fingers should be pointed towards T. A. Orji not Ogah. He had every opportunity to play a fatherly role but he decided not to.
The fault is that of all most all the PDP leaders today and so called Abia Elders who were encouraging Ogah to run while collecting millions from him. They thought it was going to be business as usual.
We cannot be crying over the years over the same institutions that held us in bondage and see a courageous liberator and fail to follow him.
We should not allow some people to deceive us with zoning and use ethnic sentiment to extend their hold on our state as a personal estate of one family.
You will be surprised if am forced to start naming some of the people that took money from Ogah and encouraged him to run who are today shouting zoning.
After thinking they were deceiving Ogah they never knew they were deceiving self. That was why when Ogah marched out for campaigning the whole of Abians from all the zones trooped out in hundreds of thousands to support him.
Believe me, even now, after saying the truth I still have sympathy for Sen. T. A. Orji because I know during the election and uptill now he’s still torn between Okezie and then the dynamic young man he calls, “my son”
