The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has accepted the March 19th Rerun of the National and State House House of Assembly election from Tai Local Government Area In Rivers State.
The Commission took the decision during a meeting today at the Aba Road Office of the Commision which had in attendance Stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress(APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)
Mathew Nenunari Dike of the All Progressive Congress polled 32020 Votes to defeat his closest rival and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Ngah Sylvester who polled 2964 Votes.
The same Vote also goes for the Senatorial and the House of Representatives putting Senator Magnus Abe and Hon Barry Mpigi ahead of their opponents
