Nollywood veteran actor, Martins Njubuigbo popularly known as Elder Maya, has died due to escalation of liver disease which he has been suffering for quite some time now.
The deceased demise was revealed by Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi on social media.
Yomi stated; “RIP Elder Maya.
” You were a veteran and a hard working one at that.
“Journey well papa.
“My concerns and sympathy with his families and close colleagues #SAVENIGERIAMOVIEINDUSTRY register shares in the grief of AGN.”
Ernest Obi, another prolific actor had earlier in May, disclosed Elder maya’s condition when he took to his instagram page to solicit funds on behalf of the actor.
A popular cleric resident in Abuja, Joshua Iginla heeded to the call and aided the ailing actor with N1 million to help with his medical bills.
