Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter Of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Bro Felix Obuha is currently under fire for usurping the functions of the Rivers State Police Command for leading security details attached to the Rivers State Government House to effect an arrest without the knowledge of the Rivers State Commissioner of Police Mr. Francis Odesanya.
Checks by PUO REPORTS has shown that the arrest of the Director of Help-Mate Consult,a Printing Press Mr Atonye Peters yesterday was done without the knowledge of the Rivers State Police Command.
It was gathered that the disregard to the hierarchy of the Police in Rivers State has made the force mute regarding the development.
Mr Atonye Peters alongside three of his staff, Richard Koko from Okrika, Nanee Godday from Khana and Tammy Garrick were arrested by suspected security orderlies attached to the Rivers State Government on flimsy excuse of printing results sheets belonging to the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC).
It was further gathered,that after their arrest,the security agents on the supervision of the Rivers PDP Boss took them to the Rivers State Government House where they were forced to make statements under a full media Coverage.
