Mr Fashola will be in Abia State tomorrow, February 2nd, 2017 for a two day working visit .
The Visit will afford the Hon. Minister a first hand opportunity to see the extremely deplorable state of Federal roads Littered across the state.
The following Federal inter state roads which connect Abia with neighboring states have completely collapsed-
1. The Enugu PH highway
2. The Umuahia Ikot Ekpene highway
3. The Aba Ikot Ekpene highway
4. The Ohafia Arochukwu highway
The total collapse and abandonment of these key roads have subjected our people to untold suffering and agony, and have destroyed our economy which survives on patronage from people who come from outside the state.
The Honorable Minister will also use this opportunity to see the modest strides recorded by the Ikpeazu administration in road construction in the state and as a former Governor of Lagos State will appreciate the crucial need for the support of the Federal Government to our state
