The Crises rocking the Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress(APC) Deepened yesterday following the manipulation of the delegate list meant for the partys Local Government Area Congress.
The Manipulation it was gathered were all staged to ensure all those loyal to Senator Magnus Ngei Abe were rigged out of the Ward and Local Government Leadership Structure of the All Progressive Congress.
The Local Government Congress which ought to hold in various LGA’s couldnt hold because the Minister of Tranportation Mr Chibuike Amaechi hijacked the National Officers of the Party sent for the excercise and lodged them at Novotel Hotel GRA Portharcourt.
Some of the members of the All Progressive Congress who spoke with our correspondent said after waiting for hours in their various Local Government Areas without sighting any official of the party sent to conduct the Congress,they received tip off that results were being written at the Novotel Hotel.
It was also gathered that Amaechi gave an order that Magnus Abe and his loyalits must not be allowed entry into the Hotel.
But Senator Abe led his followers to the Hotel where he vowed that the manipulations cannot work.
