Embattled Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University Umudike Prof Francis Ogbonnaya Otunta Yesterday ordered the Security in the School to shoot Graduating Students of the Department of Economics who were Jubilating after their Final Papers.
PUO METRO gathered that the students of Economics who were taking pictures after their final year examination yesterday at the multi-purpose hall of the University when three Security Personnel armed with a Gun ordered them to leave the School and go home.
The Students who did not resist the order were on their way out of the University Gate when the Security men opened Fire on them and also hit many with dangerous Sticks.
A Pregnant Student was hit with the head of the gun,which infuriated her friend who raised alarm at the scene,but the Michael Okpara Security gave her the beaten of her Life.

The Pregnant Student and her Friend is currently Hospitalized .
“Is this the kind of institution we want? Security personnels that cannot protect unarmed innocent students. The victims are currently In bad state of health. Are students really safe in the school anymore?” asked a Student of the School Ugo’m Onweh on his facebook account.
