The new Commissioner of Police in Ondo State, Gbenga Adeyanju has assured residents of the state of safety and security of their lives and property in the “ember” months and beyond.
The CP made this disclosure during the handing over by the outgoing CP, Hilda Ibifuro-Harrison at the command headquarters in Akure, the state capital.
CP Adeyanju who called for the collaboration of every good citizen of the state in ensuring the state is crime free, urged the members of the public to always give relevant information to the police that will ensure effective policing.
The outgoing CP, Hilda Ibifuro-Harrison, in her valedictory speech thanked the government and people of Ondo State for their support during her tenure.
She expressed assurance that her successor will do better than her, calling on all the good people of the state to continue to give intelligent information to the police, to ensure better police operations.
Hilda Ibifuro-Harrison who is the 38th Commissioner of Police in Ondo State was recently promoted to the post of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police.
