Rivers APC Crises: APC Leaders In Rivers West Denounce Amaechi,pitch tent with Magnus Abe

Leaders of the All Progressive Congress(APC) across each of the (8) eight Local Government Areas of Rivers West Senatorial District, Of; Abuja/Odual LGA, Ahoada East LGA, Ahoada West LGA, Akuku-Tory LGA, Askari-Toru LGA, Bonny LGA, DEgema LGA, and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni has openly denounced the Minister of Transportation to pitch tent with Senator Magnus Abe.

The Leaders also pledged to work for the Governorship ambition of Senator Magnus Abe Representing Rivers South East Senatorial District in 2019.

Their decision was conveyed in a Communique issued after their widely attended meeting at Tropinal Hotels Ula-Upata Road in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State on the 21st of October 2017.

“Without equivocation and with the power and support of both the APC Constitution and Nigerian Constitution, the meeting stated that Senator Magnus Ngei Abe’s eminent qualification to aspire to the office of Governor of Rivers State under our party could not be questioned.

” Accordingly, the meeting called on him to present himself for the 2019 Gubernatorial election under our great party APC, as he clearly has the support and approval of a vast majority of our party faithful across the state”.

PUO REPORTS The Rivers West Senatorial District Stakeholders meeting,  deliberated on the state of the party ahead of the 2019 general elections in the state, received reports from members on happenings and activities in their respective LGAs. After more than two(2) hours of  deliberations, in which there were reflections on the past as a party ,the Leaders in Rivers West Senatorial  District , reminded the Leadership of the APC in Rivers State that political parties exist primarily, if not solely, to win elections and not pander to individual or sectional or clique, stressing that each person in the party was free to make his political choices without fear.
