The Abia State House of Assembly is set to Confirm screened Commissioners Nominees,PUO REPORTS has learnt.
The Lawmakers at the Abia State House of Assembly had a brief Plenary today Monday 30th October 2017 where they grilled the Chairman of the Abia State Universal Basic Education Board(ASUBEB) over conflicting issues surrounding the board.
The Assembly adjourned Plenary till Today(Tuesday) for other business of the Day.
It was gathered that the report of the Commissioner Nominees screening exercise will be presented by the Speaker Rt Hon Chikwendu Kalu for Consideration.
PUO REPORTS has also gathered from Government House Sources that the Abia State Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has also concluded plans to Inaugurate the Commissioners between Wednesday 1st November 2017 and Friday 3rd November after possible Confirmation of the Commissioner Nominees by the State Assembly.
It will be recalled that the Abia State House of Assembly had on Tuesday 25th October 2017 Concluded the Screening of Commissioner Nominees and adjourned sitting till on Monday(Today)30th October 2017
