A member of the Federal House of Representatives Representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly Hon Uko Nkole has debunked malicious Sms being Circulated that he had defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All progressive Congress(APC).
Hon Nkole described the malicious sms as handiwork of opposition Politicians in Abia State that are afraid of his pragmatic and quality Representation to the People of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
The message Circulated via SMS had read in part”NEWS FLASH: Hon Uko Nkole Member Representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in NASS has decamped to APC alongside his supporters”. The message was sent via phone text message with a name rNotif
But the Lawmaker in a swift Reaction Said”This evening, my attention was drawn to the malicious text messages pioneered by some disgruntled elements and enemies of progress that I, Hon. Uko Nkole, member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency has defected to APC.
“I want to at this moment inform the general public to disregard the rumour and also reaffirm that I remain a staunch member and stakeholder in my party, The People Democratic Party, both at the Local, State and National level”.
“In as much as I don’t know the reasons behind the grapevine text messages; I want to state that no amount of distractions shall elude us of our victory come 2019.
By the special grace of God, my constituency shall deliver our amiable Governor Okezie Ikpeazu including other PDP aspirants in the Local, State and National level”.
