Maduakolam Adighibe, a chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Abia state on Wednesday said APC will spring surprises in 2019 general election in the state just as he assured the people that APC government in Abia would transform the state economy and provide infrastructural amenities to the
Adighibe who stated this in an interview with journalists in Umuahia, disclosed that APC has gain seventy per cent ground in Abia state.
His words:”Definitely, APC will surprise Abians come 2019. Because you can see that in Abia state, civil servants, Pensioners, market men and women, they have all seen they don’t have any other alternative than to support and vote for APC in 2019 election”.
“Come 2019, APC government in Abia state will bring food on the table of Abians, create jobs for the unemployed, provide infrastructural amenities and revitalize moribund industries in the state which the PDP-led government has failed to do”.
“APC as a party, was not grounded in Abia state during 2015 poll.Immediately after 2015 election, it had 50 percent. As I’m talking to you now, APC has gained about 70 per cent ground of Abia state irrespective of government in power in the state. Everybody are now embracing the party”.
On the proposed offer of Automatic ticket to President Muhammadu Buhari for second term, Adighibe, said his(Buhari) achievements will show if he deserve second term or not.
He said,”By the end of his administration, the scorecards of President Muhammadu Buhari will tell us if he(Buhari) has to return for second term or not. But with what we are seeing on ground, giving out many bailout funds to states, fighting corruption in the country, putting good policies that has begin to give our economy a facelift. He has done alot for the country within two years and. Let all Nigerians support APC led government to enable them continue its good works”.
