Former Nigerian Ambassador to South Africa, Amb. Okechukwu Nwadiuto Emuchay has lashed out on the Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abia, Don Ubani, over his recent uproar against the State Government.
Ubani , a former commissioner in a condolence message to Eze Chikamnayo, alleged that the state government has failed to pay commissioners who served in previous administration 7 months’ salary arrears.
In his reaction, Emuchay, a Kinsman of Mr Don Ubani who was also a PDP Governorship aspirant in 2015, took a swipe on Ubani, accusing him of being part of the problems in Abia state.
“Don should cover his face in shame if he has any left. He should cease disturbing the social media space because of outstanding salaries of seven months that ochendo did not pay him,” he said.
He added that the former commissioner has no track record of achievement when he served the state government in various capacities.
He said: “ Don has been in government since 1999. I am not sure what he has to exhibit for it, not sure what impact he made in his community.
“There are public servants and pensioners who are being owed for months. Several have died in the process. He and his colleague from Isuochi are part of the problem we have in abia state. Their nuisance value has no limit. Enough on Don, let us occupy our time with something more productive.”
Mr Don Ubani who is currently the Pubicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Abia State served as a Special Adviser to Former Governor Orji Uzor Kalu,Commissioner for Information in the First Tenure of Former Governor Theodore Orji
