The Leadership of Assemblies God Nigeria today celebrated Rev Dr Charles Osueke as h attained 75th Birthday and 50Years Wedding Anniversary.
Rev Dr Charles Osueke ruled Assemblies of God Nigeria for 22 Solid Years (1988-2010)
The Event held at the Event Hall TOSCANA Hotel Enugu.
Speaking at the Event the General Superintendent Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor described Papa Osueke as both Human and Spirit.
“Am glad. There is nothing that we do for our father and grand father that will be adequate for the Labour he spent and was spent for the Labours of this Church,we are happy that the God of our forefathers has preserved him till Today”.
General Oversea of Grace of God Mission. Bishop Paul Nwachukwu who Spoke on the Principles of honouring our Father said that The Reason why people die quickly is because they miss their Principles.
He took his text from Ist Samuel 24:19-20.
“We all have Four fathers we shouldn’t Joke with. Your In-law,Your Biological Father,Your Spiritual Father and your Heavenly. Spiritual authority is very very Important, when you look down on Spiritual Authorities, you may suffer and Die Prematurely. He said.
The Assistant General Superintendent Assemblies of God Nigeria Rev PST Ejikeme Ejim who spoke on behalf of the General Council Of Assemblies God Nigeria described Papa Osueke as a Great Asset to Assemblies Of God Nigeria.
“We knew him as Director of Mission and Evangelism, before he became the General Superintendent of Assemblies God Nigeria for 22years,. Through his Ministry he raised the standard of Holiness, he raised the Standard of Discipline”
“Let us appreciate this Couple because through them,the Lord gave us Evangel University, Evangel Camp Okpoto,EASTER RETREAT, PENIEL among others”
“We trust that the Lord will continue to bless your Ministry, we pray that the Lord will keep you alive to see how the Church has overcomed the Devil”.
