The Katsina State chapter of the Buhari Support Organisation (BSO) has expressed satisfaction with the security measures provided by the President Muhammadu Buhari administration across the country.
Therefore, BSO said it had endorsed the re-elections of the president and Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State because of their exemplary leadership. Katsina State Coordinator of BSO, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Kallah, who is also the media aide to the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Mannir Yakubu, gave the commendation in a statement yesterday.
He said it was encouraging that protection of lives and property had remained top priority of the President Buhari-led administration. He further said recent approaches towards curbing kidnapping across the country, including the arrest of kidnap kingpins and the decimation of Boko Haram in the North East, were worth celebrating.
“The release of 106 Chibok girls and the release of 16,000 persons in Boko Haram captivity is a positive development. There is the need to recognise the zeal of the Buhari administration, especially because of the recovery of local governments and territories occupied by Boko Haram,” Kallah said.
He further said restoring the morale, re-organising and equipping the Nigerian armed forces were commendable, further saying the purchase of 12 Super-Tucano aircraft worth £600m to aid military operation in the North East earned the present administration applause from Nigerians.
