Following the Release of the 2019 General Elections Time Table by the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia South Senatorial District has barred aspirants from Contesting Against the Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.
The Party in the Abia South Senatorial District took the decision at its enlarged Meeting held at Umuobiokwa School Field in Obingwa Local Government Area on Wednesday January 10th 2018.
The Party Leadership in the Area said it was adopting the Abia State Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu as it’s sole Governorship Candidate for the 2019 Governorship election in Abia State and urged all those with aspirations to back down and obey the Party’s Decision.
Abia South Senatorial District is made of ABA NORTH,ABA SOUTH,UGWUNAGBO,OBINGWA,UKWA EAST and UKWA WEST Areas.
