The General Council of Assemblies Of God Nigeria today Sunday 28th January 2018 Succefully recovered Assemblies Of God Church 2 Uzuakoli in Uzuakoli Section of the Umuahia North Jerusalem District of Assemblies Of God Nigeria.
The Church before now was Forcefully taking over by Rev Dan Amugo,a Suspended District Superintendent of Umuahia District who planted one Rev Nwachi as the Pastor of the Church.
However with the Efforts of Amb Emma Iroegbu,a Member of the National Consultative Forum of Assemblies Of God Nigeria in collaboration with the Umuahia North Jerusalem District,Officers from Zone 9 of the Nigerian Police Force Sealed the Church on the 31st of December 2017.
The Police in Abia State after Going through the Supreme Court Judgement in the crises that rocked Assemblies Of God Nigeria and other Documentary evidences today Opened the Church and handed it over to General Council of Assemblies Of God Nigeria led by Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor as General Superintendent.
The Umuahia North District Presbytery led by the District Superintendent Rev J C Ndukwe,Amb Emma Iroegbu,Amb Mike Iheukwumere,Amb Azubuko Uda worshipped in the Church.
In the Meantime,the District has Transferred Rev Obioma Nwankwo as the New Pastor of the Church
