The Nigerian Senate today passed to Second Reading a Bill to Establish a Federal Polytechnic in Item Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
The bill titled “A bill for an act to establish federal university, Item, Abia State with focused facilities to ensure equity and access to tertiary education in the country; and for other Related Matters 2018”(SB 607) is being sponsored by the Senator Representing Abia North in the Senate Senator Mao Ohuabunwa.
The Senate President Senator Bukola Saraki announced the passage of the Bill To Second Reading during plenary today 21st February 2018.
