The Rivers State House of Assembly on Tuesday screened and confirmed fifteen Caretaker Committee Chairmen and their members.
The confirmation which took place at the Assembly Complex, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has the following Local Government Areas: Ikwerre, Barr Sunny Wondikom as Chairman, Obio/Akpor, Hon Chris Noble Amadi as Chairman, and Ahoada West, Hon Frank Rogers Ohiri as Chairman.
Others include Dame Beatrice Awala for Ahoada East, Dr Thankgod Festus Diri for Akuku Toru, Hon Godwin Abe Ollor for Eleme.
Madiye Dickson for Abua/Odual, Cyril Hart for Bonny, Hon Tubotamuno Dickson for Asari Toru and Comrade Stanley Nwuju for Omuma.
While other LGAs are Opobo Nkoro, Senibo Boma Brown as Chairman, Oyigbo has Hon Ugochukwu Ejiri as Chairman.
The remaining LGAs are Port Harcourt City, Hon Okparaeli as Chairman and Etche which has Hon Gershon as Chairman.
While confirming them, the Speaker of the House, Hon Dabatorudima Adam, charged them to be of good conducts and ensure that they workers regularly.
Answering questions, Hon Chris Noble Amadi promised that he will end street trading in Obio/Akpor.
Chief Dr Thankgod Festus Diri also stated that he will consolidate on the blueprints of Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike in tackling insecurity in his LGA.
During the screening, Dame Hon Beatrice Awala, a former member of the Rivers State House of Assembly, was asked to take a bow.
