April 3 tragedy: We share in the pains, Abia Assembly Commiserate with Ikpeazu’s Wife, Abians

Abia State House of Assembly has commiserated with the Wife of the Abia State Governor Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu and Abians over the unfortunate incident which claimed the Lives of Two Women on the Convoy of the Wife of the Governor.

A Statement Released by Rt. Hon. Cosmos Ndukwe PhD Deputy Speaker Chairman House Committee on Information, Media and Publicity on behalf of the Abia State House of Assembly encouraged Abians to sustain their Confidence in God

“The news of the unfortunate fatal accident involving the convoy of Wife of the Governor, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu is one too many. Having scratched a very important veneer in the life of Abia State and particularly the 6th Abia House, we swim in grave pains”

“We are aware of the incomprehensible nature of God. We have therefore submitted totally to His will and only ask for fortitude to bear this seeming intractable loss”

“On behalf of our dear Speaker Rt. Hon. Chikwendu Kalu Esq and members of the 6th Abia House, we commiserate with wife of the Governor, family of our former member Hon. Uche Nwankpa whose wife died in the unfortunate incident, families of all victims and indeed all Abians. It is not a time to pose questions as we remain bows in the arrow of our God”

“While we grief, we encourage all of us to sustain our confidence in God, the giver and taker of life; the author and finisher of our faith. It is our fervent prayer that God in His infinite mercy will make this loss far less burdening for all of us”
