The Nigerian Senate has adjourned Plenary till Thursday 26th April 2018 over the Health Status of one of its Own and Senator Representing Kogi West In the Senate Senator Dino Melaye.
It will be recalled that Senator Melaye who was stopped from traveling on Monday by the Immigration Service on the Orders of the Nigerian Police Force is currently at the National Hospital Abuja.
The Senate President Bukola Saraki after listening to Contributions and motions from Senator Mao Ohuabunwa of Abia North,Senator Sonnie Ogbuoji of Ebonyi South among others stood down the Order Paper of the Senate for today for the Senators to visit their Colleague.
The Senate also summoned the Inspector General of Police Mr Ibrahim Idris to appear before it on Thursday by 11am to brief the Senate
