President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the new appointments following the nominees confirmation by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
According to a statement by Olusegun A. Adekunle, Esq. Permanent Secretary, in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the new appointments include Anthony Okechukwu Ojukwu as Executive Secretary, National Human Rights Commission for initial term of five years.
Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is the Non-Executive Director, Niger Delta Development Commission, for initial term of four years.
Chika Ama, Nwauwa is also Non-Executive Director, Niger Delta Development Commission. for initial term of four years.
Also Nwogu N. Nwogu has been appointed as Non-Executive Director, Niger Delta Development Commission for initial term of four years.
Professor James Momoh is the Chairman, Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission for initial term of five years.
The appointments, the statement said, take immediate effect.
