A long queue was, on Friday, formed at Nike Town in London by people who wanted to buy the newly launched Nigerian World Cup Kit, produced by Nike.

Photos of the queue were shared on Twitter by a user, @conroy_bumpus, who said the queue went round the corner away from the outlet.

The photos show that it wasn’t only dark-skinned persons who were interested in laying their hands on the kit, as White people were also seen on the queue.

As of the time of filing this report, Twitter users were lamenting that the kit sold out in less than an hour after its official launch.

I’m pissed off! I woke up mega early to try purchase the Nigeria kit and it’s sold out. Can everyone who’s not even Nigerian but purchased one return it now! 😂😡😡

I suspect a lot of the purchases of the sold out Nigerian kit are likely by people hoarding and hoping to re-sell it last minute with a markup. I want to bet that if you wait a little, a lot of those original jerseys will come back on the market, albeit at a higher price.

The Nigerian kit by Nike has been adjudged the best kit of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
