The Founder and President of Dominion City Church Worldwide, Pastor David Ogbueli has commeded the Governor of Abia State Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for turning around the stories of Aba through his administration’s development of infrastructures in the State.
He said that Dr. Ikpeazu’s governorship is a divine providence which is also the reason while he was not daunted by the legal distractions while it lasted.
Pst.Ogbueli was speaking yesterday in a Church service at the Dominion City branch of the Church at Umungasi road, Aba to mark the end of his 3 day visit in Abia State.
According to the Man of God, ‘I was finding it difficult to come to Aba before now, but from what I have seen so far, there is hope for the Igbo nation because if Abia State develops, Igbo has developed and am glad God Almighty is using Dr.Ikpeazu to rebuild the State’.
He took his teaching in the Bible from the book of 1 kings chapter 12 , where he taught on stewardship, leadership and the ability to listen to the problems of the Society. He noted that Ikpeazu got it right by understanding that Aba needed intervention in Infrastructures.
In his short remark, Dr. Ikpeazu enumerated some of his administration’s successes despite the distractions. He said that he looked beyond the troubles that lasted for more than 2 years.
He thanked the Pastor for the kind words he volunteered on him and his government and promised to do more to the benefit of all Abians. He asked the church to always support his administration through prayers. In his words, ‘One of our strategies to make Igboland the economic hub of Africa led to the development of the Enyimba Economic City blueprint that got attention of global investors who have gone ahead to sign an understanding to develop the city that will stand on 9800 hectares of land cutting across Ukwa East, West and Ugwunagbo LGA.
Ikpeazu observed that Abia and Igboland has a special of gift of industrialization and management of resources.
He commended the Church for helping to curb social vices through their teachings on morals and ethics.
Rt.Hon.Eric Acho Nwakanma, Amb.Empire Kanu, Chief Jerry Kalu, Barr.Chizuru Kalu and other Government Officials attended the service.
