Rivers State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has described the feat of Miss Rita Lawrence the daughter of Dr. Lawrence Chuku an APC Chieftain who recently bagged prestigious academic laurels as a genius and worthy to be celebrated.
The party in a statement signed and circulated to the Media by the Rivers State APC Chairman, Hon. Ojukaye Falg-Amachree further noted that for this to happen at this time that the incumbent Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike is doing everything humanly possible to decimate and destroy the educational sector of Rivers State calls for celebration.
“Rita’s feat proves that the plot by Governor Wike to endanger the educational sector of the State has failed woefully. The public could recall that Governor Wike in his determination to ruin the future of our children have not only stopped all the scholarship schemes put up by the administration of Amaechi but ensured that the educational facilities constructed are turned to waste. Governor Wike is a disaster and must be voted out come 2019 to restore back the glory of Rivers State” Ojukaye said.
He expressed joy that for Rita to have distinguished herself by winning the “Best Student in Additional Mathematics in Nigeria, Cambridge IGSCE exams 2017” and “Brookstone’s Secondary Best Graduating Student in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Economics and ICT” proves that Rivers State is full of hidden talents if properly harnessed will take the State to a new height.
The awards ceremonies that were done at the British Council, Victoria Island Civic centre and at the Brookstone School all situated in Lagos State was a beauty to behold.
This feat by the young girl according to the no-nonsense State Chairman of Rivers State proves that the future of Rivers State will be great not minding the setback she is currently facing in the hands of Governor Wike. This is a momentous and joyful occasion to those of us who are political associates of Dr Lawrence Chuku an astute and pillar of democracy in Rivers State
This feat signifies the great future that awaits the State when APC wins the 2019 general elections.
