A Member of the Abia State House Of Assembly Representing Ohafia North State Constituency Hon Mandela Obasi Today Declared his Intention to seek Re-election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
The Declaration which held at his Country home Abaribe in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia during a Town Hall Meeting /Empowerment he organized for his Constituents State had in attendance Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Members of the Enachioken in Council, Members of the Nkporo Council Of Chiefs, and communities under the Ohafia North State Constituency.
Speaking during the Declaration, Hon Mandela Obasi said he was surprised over the magnitude of members of his Constituents that came to honour his Invitation.
“The Message you people sent me to the House Of Assembly, I have gone”
“Our Work is not to Construct roads but to make Laws for the Betterment of the people”
“Abariba and Nkporo is known for Trade and
FARMING, and if you look at Abariba you see our people are no longer farming as they use to because of the activities of herdsmen who destroy their crops”
“The worry made me to Get Farming Equipments but those who are not happy started attacking us, but when they FACEBOOK, we will FACE WORK for our people here”
Speaking Further he said the ugly development gave rise to his petition to the Governor of Abia State who encouraged them to go and register and get our PVC.
“I have raised at the House Of Assembly the erosion issues in Abariba and Nkporo and we believe soon it will be done”
“My Performance as the Transition Chairman of Ohafia Local Government made people to persuade me to seek election into the Abia State House Of Assembly in 2015 and when I got to the house I made case for my Constituency”
The Lawmaker Lambasted Opposition Elements who wrongly presented his Previous empowerment for the Ohafia North State Constituents.
Hon Mandela formally Declared his Intention to seek Re-election to the Abia State House Of Assembly to Represent Ohafia North State Constituency.
“Am using this Opportunity to inform our Abariba and Nkporo People that I shall be Seeking Re-election again into The Abia State House Of Assembly come 2019 ” He Said
Chief Okoro Agha who spoke on Behalf of Nkporo People after the Declaration of the Lawmaker urged the people of Ohafia North State Constituency to ensure the Return of the Lawmaker.
Agbai Osiri Secretary of Abariba Communal Improvement Union urged Abariba People to return Hon Mandela Obasi back to the Abia State House Of Assembly in 2019.
“He is a Practical Abariba Person, Patriotism is in his Blood, You cannot Change a winning Team, Abariba people are Solidly behind him” He Said

A Former Member of the House Of Representatives who Represented Ohafia /Arochukwu Federal Constituency RT Hon Arua Arunsi urged the people of Ohafia North State Constituency to return Hon Mandela Obasi to the Abia State House.
