Photo News: Imo govt demolishes kidnappers, robbers’ houses

Imo State Government demolished six buildings belonging to three suspected kidnappers and armed robbers at Mgbidi in the Oru East Local Government Area of the state at the weekend.

The buildings, including one hotel and five houses, belong to the suspected killers of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Mr. Amos Akano.

The suspects who were said to have confessed to the murder and other criminal activities were Ikenna Nwosu, Eze Chukuwu and Chidi Anyiam.

Police Public Relations Officer Andrew Enwerem said: “The demolition was carried out by the state government. We were only there to provide security and make sure there was no breakdown of law and order.”
