The Nigeria senate president, Dr. Bukola Saraki would be leading senators to the residence of his deputy, Dr. Ike Ekweremmadu whose house was laid siege by the Nigeria Police Force since 6: am.
Recall that Ekweremmadu had reported that his house was unlawfully invaded by the Nigeria Police who since then denied him his constitutional right for movement.
At the plenary held today, Ekweremmadu was absent, thus the reason why Saraki insisted that he along with other senators would visit him.
Recall also that the senate through a motion moved by Sen. Chukwuka Utazi at plenary on Tuesday, ordered security operatives on siege to Ekweremadu’s residence, to vacate the place and allow him to enjoy his constitutional right.
