The impeachment took place on Monday morning.
The new Speaker Alhaji Kabiru Alhassan Rurum has been sworn in and already presiding over plenary.
Alhaji Alhassan Kabiru Rurum was the deputy Speaker and prior to that was the immediate Speaker that resigned last year over bribery allegation .
He was later exonerated by the committee set up to investigate the allegations.
