The World Igbo Youth Council Worldwide said the body will ensure that President Muhammadu Buhari gets 5Million Votes from South Eastern States in the 2019 General Election.

WIYC revealed that the Youth body met and deliberated extensively on the political future of Ndigbo and resolved as follows.
“WIYC will anchor the political survival of Ndigbo in 2019 by championing the interest of Ndigbo in APC, knowing fully well that Igbo’s had since 1960 had never fare well in opposition, soar on greatly in the mainstream politics and thus we leading the young generation of Ndigbo into APC to salvage the political future of Ndigbo which Ohanaeze Ndigbo messed up in 2015”
“We have but in motion a political machinery to ensure that the political backwardness of Ndigbo in these regime where No Igbo was not occupying a prominent position from President, Vice President or Senate President, Our fore Fathers will not forgive us if we fold our hands and allow our political future to declined to a stage where our children Will not forgive us”
” WIYC will join all the Igbo’s on September 29th 2018 at Owerri Igbo Day to declare officially declare our support for President Buhari for his re election, and Launch Ndigbo for Buhari 2019 / Buhari for Ndigbo 2023, we will give President Buhari 5million Votes in the South East”
“We will continue to project Our collective interest, we call on the release of Igbo women held in owerri Prisons, irrespective they’re tagged “IPOB WOMEN” we will resist such atrocities that may lead to another Aba women riot re occur again”
