The General Superintendent Of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor has asked Pastors to seek the Standard of the Church to avoid using the Pulpit for Political Endorsement.
Dr Okoroafor spoke on Sunday At Assemblies Of God Church Plot 38 Agip Road Rumueme Portharcourt The Rivers State Capital during the Church One Day Revival Programme Tagged l”The Blessing of the Father’s and Episcopal Visit” on Sunday.
The Ikwerre South District Superintendent Rev John Ezekwu While Introducing the General Superintendent said the Church was Fortunate that have a Leader of Leaders in their Midst.
Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor Appreciated the Agip Road Church for extending an Invitation to him to Worship with the Local Church Today.
“I glorify the name of the Lord for the Privilege and Opportunity of being here Today, I appreciate the Local Church through the Pastor and the Superintendent for extending an Invitation to me to come and be a partakers of this Service”
Speaking from the Book of 2Kings 6:8 and Genesis 37:18-20 On the Topic WANTED WANTED WANTED… Seers the General Superintendent Said the Church needs the Manifestation of God.
“When I was meditating on the message to deliver to this Congregation, I had a strange Topic that struck my Mind”

Speaking about actions of some Pastors who use the Pulpit for Political Endorsement, Rev Okoroafor said Assemblies Of God Nigeria cannot use any of her Pulpits for Such.
“Assemblies Of God Nigeria can not use the Pulpit to endorse any Politician”
“It will be dangerous for Assemblies of God to use her Pulpit to Canvass for any Politician”
“May our Eyes be opened that we may know the Standard of the Church, do you know that Somebody may canvass for votes and Papa will say You won’t Govern” He Said
The General Superintendent Prayed for God to Open the eyes of his Children to see what God wants them to See.
