INEC has written go the APC, informing the party that it shall not be fielding any candidate for the post of governor, Senator, house of representatives member and state house of assembly member.
This is because the APC Zamfara state failed to conduct primaries to fill up those positions before the deadline of INEC, October 7.
The governor wanted to become a Senator, then impose his commissioner for finance as governor.
This did not go down well with other stakeholders of the party and there has been violence which marred the primaries.

Governor Yari is the chairman Governors forum but he has exhibited a very great amount of cluenessness, even saying that he has dropped the office of the chief security officer of the state.
