The Rivers State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bro. Felix Obuah has once more waded into the internal crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State with an invitation to the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and Senator Magnus Ngei Abe to his residence in Port Harcourt.

Bro. Obuah, who disclosed this in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam, said it became necessary to intervene in the protracted crisis as it was deepening by the day.

He stated that he had already sent invitations to the duo wherein he communicated the date and time of the meeting, which is Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1 p.m. in his Palace in Port Harcourt.

Bro. Obuah expressed confidence that the duo would honour his invitation, adding that they are both familiar with his residence in Port Harcourt, venue of the meeting.

“There is no problem that does not have a solution. Once the right approach is adopted, the crisis would be over, and that is the prescription I am going to give to the warring parties”, Obuah said.

Bro. Obuah further added that it would be un-cultural for elder statesmen such as himself to sit back and watch the state plunged into crisis because of the activities of Rotimi Amaechi and Magnus Abe.

“A mother hen does not fold its hands and watch its chicks carried away by the hawk. We may belong to different political associations, but I am wading into the crisis as an elder statesman, to ensure peaceful resolution so there will be peace in the State”, Obuah stated.
