Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has commended Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) for his contributions to the development of the state, especially his free education programme and other philanthropic efforts.
Speaking on Sunday at the Omega Power Ministries (OPM) during a service to mark the 45th Birthday of Apostle Chibuzor, Governor Wike also lauded the cleric for his soul winning programmes.
Governor Wike said that the state government will continue to partner the church for the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the growth of the society.
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Sir. Kenneth Kobani, Governor Wike described OPM as unique .
He congratulated Apostle Chibuzor on his 45th birthday and the 12th Anniversary celebration of the church.
The governor urged the church not to be deceived by some unpatriotic politicians bent on circumventing the Rivers interest.
Also speaking, Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu prayed God to strengthen Apostle Chibuzor for service to humanity.
