The Rivers State University students have thanked the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Barr Nyesom WIke for putting education first in his government.
The students said, when the school management decided to increase their school fees the governor intervened for them.
Secondly, the governor ordered the school management to resume academic activities whether ASUU call off the strike or not.
They also pledged their support for him come 2019.
