It was a moment of joy and Jubilation for the people of Itumbauzo in Bende LGA as the Good Senator representing the good people of Abia North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Dr. Mao Ohuabunwa commissiond three (3) significant projects in Itumbauzo.
the projects commissiond are Science Laboratory Equipment at Ubibia, 1 KM. Itumbauzo road and a 4 class rooms block at Okopedi, all in Itumbauzo Clan.
Speaking during the epoch making event that was greeted with joy and passion, the Paramount Ruler of Itumbauzo, HRH. Eze Chris I. Amanodom, The Eze Udo 1 of Itumbauzo Commended the Senator for the projects he completed in Itumbauzo, the King also Described Senator Mao Ohuabunwa as a good politician with the heart of gold and Declared his total Support and that of Itumbauzo people for Senator Mao Ohuabunwa and all the candidates of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) because of their magnanimity.
During her address, the Principal of Ubibia High school, Lady Lillian C. Onuoha expressed joy and Appreciation over the Donation of the Science Equipment for Ubibia high school,
Lady Onuoha also described the Laboratory science Equipment as first of it kind in the history of the School and prayed God to bless Senator Mao Ohuabunwa in his future ambitious.
Responding, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa said that he executed All the projects in Itumbauzo because of his love for the people and in fulfilment of his promises to God and Man, Senator Mao therefore urged the people to be stadefast and have hope in PDP, he also encouraged them to go out and collect their permanent voters card to enable them vote for all the candidates of the PDP because PDP is the only National party of Nigeria that can bring Development, peace and prosperity to them.
Highlights of the event was a cultural dance and a welcome song by the Students of Ubibia high school,
Senator Mao Ohuabunwa also gave a five years Scholarship to the Leader of the cultural group, Little Miss Chinemerem Okoro of Ubibia high school.
