Labour Party in Kogi State has asked the Governor Yahaya Bello-led All Progressives Congress to start packing their bags as the party is set to dislodge him in 2019.
The warning to takeover Lugard House, seat of government, was made by the new chairman of Labour party in the State, Alhaji Bala Isah Aduku on Monday.
According to the new state chairman, the labour party was now better repositioned in the state, just as he boasted that the party would win convincingly, all the National and State Assembly elections, after which it would win the state governorship election.
He called on all workers both in the formal and informal sector to join the labour party, pointing out that, if the party is voted into power, it would prioritize payment of salaries and job creation and create an enabling environment for small scale businesses to thrive.
Others elected executives of the state labour party are Kehinde Ali, Secretary, Abubakar Audu- Deputy State Chairman East.
Others elected are: John Alabi – Deputy Chairman West, Idowu Aminu- Auditor, Baba Temitope – Assistant Secretary, Ibrahim Sule- Treasurer and Abraham Enekole Assistant Secretary.
