The council of Ndi Eze Ogo Arochukwu Kingdom in Arochukwu LGA today honored one of their sons and the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Mao Arukwe Ohuabunwa for his Achievements and contributions towards the Development of Arochukwu Kingdom and Abia North in general.
Speaking during their solidarity visit to Senator Mao at his Country home in Arochukwu, the Chairman of Ndi Eze Ogo Arochukwu Kingdom and the Eze Ogo of Atani Aro, Eze Charles Kanu said they decided to come and give honor to whom it due because Senator Mao Ohuabunwa has made them proud.
They pointed some of the Achievements of the Senator in Arochukwu Kingdom which includes reconstruction of Ugwuavo road, Atani road with streets lights, rehabilitation of Atani Arochukwu healthcare center/ installation of equipment, construction of 3 water boreholes at Obinkita, reconstruction of Barracks- Ndi Ite road, construction of two convenience centers in Arochukwu etc.
They pledged their support for the Senator and promised not only to vote for him but to mobilize massively for his re-election come 2019.
Responding, Senator Mao who was full of joy stated that there is no honor or Award that is more valuable than the one giving to you by your home town, while thanking them he also said that he will not rest until the entire Abia North Senatorial District is develope, he therefore dedicated the honor to God Almighty, his family and to the entire people of Abia North Senatorial District.
Some of the Dignitaries at the event includes, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, Engr. Onyekachi Maurice Okoro, the vice President of Nzuko Aro world wide and other notable Dignitaries.
