Bende Federal Constituency has been waiting eagerly for a passionate and purposeful voice at the Federal House of Representatives, one to build on the legacy of previous holders of that position and someone who can provide quality legislative and purposeful people-centered leadership and service, a type of service that is built on truth, transparency, and boldness of character. With abundance of resources, both human and material, Bende people have remained resolute on the desire for progress. In spite of the various achievements recorded by previous house members from Bende, including the incumbent, the people of Bende has often been desirous of representatives who would put the constituency on the part of continuous progress and constant development.
The election of Chima Anyaso as the PDP candidate for the Bende Federal House of Representatives seat at the recently concluded PDP primary election has set a new course in the crave of the people for a better life and a better Bende. The primary election that brought forth Chima Anyaso has remained an epochal event in the political history of Abia State and indeed Nigeria. That event has restored the course of history and delivered a renewed hope and abundance of progress. Anyaso’s entry into politics and his election has, according to many, redefined the politics of Bende and restructured the political terrain positively in a way that provides a new impetus for progress and prosperity because of Anyaso’s excellent character and pedigree.
Chima, as he is fondly called by his peers and people of Bende, is not one that tolerates lack of progress. He is passionate in his desires, straightforward in his thoughts, deeds, and determined in his views. A never say die persona, and such qualities has enabled him achieve so much progress in areas that others have struggled. An embodiment of passion, purpose, and vision, Anyaso has demonstrated in his private life that service to his people is possible and that it takes only passion backed by a purpose to change the lives of people in need of education, good health, and good life.
All these coming from Anyaso not because of the advantages of being blessed with an abundance of youth and means, but the desire that he has to see the need of others fulfilled and going the extra mile to help the poor and needy. Little wonder that in his individual capacity Chima Anyaso has been able to provide free and quality education for rural children, at no cost to the beneficiaries. It is a real joy for Anyaso to live above self and to be a source of hope to others.
At a recent event where Anyaso unveiled his manifesto, the Igbere born businessman made it abundantly clear that his goal is to eradicate poverty and provide a better life for Bende people and indeed Nigerians. There is no doubt in his capacity to deliver this promise because Anyaso carries in him abundant ideas and strategies that he is committed to deploy for the good of Bende People. Above all, he is a lover of God and humanity, and this he has demonstrated in his journey through life.

Through the Anyaso Foundation, Chima has contributed to improving the lives of many indigent citizens of Abia State with various life-changing grassroots initiatives. These initiatives are aimed at reducing poverty, empowering the youths, ensuring that young girls and boys of school age have access to quality education and skill acquisition programs that have benefited the teeming youths. In addition, he has provided start-up incentives for young women, as well as free education for less privileged children under the Ahuoma Anyaso Educational Foundation, a free school and free feeding arrangement for indigent children.
Other projects by Chima Anyaso are the quarterly free health support and donation of medical equipment and drugs to various hospitals. Also, cash plus material donations to orphanages, old people’s homes, and the internally displaced people homes.
Anyaso has promised that Youths of Bende federal constituency will be given the right place and opportunity to decide the future that they deserve through impactful programs under the Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso Youth Development Agenda.
There is no doubt that Anyaso will sustain the voice of Bende Federal Constituency in the legislature.
