The people of Ndi Okereke Abam in Arochukwu LGA has assured the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa that they will massively vote for him and all the candidates of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in the forth coming General elections.
Speaking at Ndi Okereke Abam, the traditional prime minister of the community Chief Onwuka Kalu Ogbu stated that the people of Ndi Okereke has no other choice than to vote for Senator Ohuabunwa whom they described as a son of Ndi Okereke and Abam Onyerubi in general.
Also speaking, an SA to the Governor of Abia State and a son of Ndi Okereke Abam, Prince Chukwuma Egbuta, the woman Leader, Elder Mrs Comfort Okoko Ajah and the Youth leader Comr. Ojieke Paul appreciated the Developmental strides of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa in Arochukwu LGA and Abia North in general especially the just commissiond Ovukwu Abam primary healthcare center, and water borehole at Ndi Oji Abam, the ongoing rural electrification Project at Ndi Agwu Abam etc. But pleaded with the Senator to extend his magnanimity to Ndi Okereke Abam, they unanimously passed vote of confidence on Senator Mao Ohuabunwa and promised to vote massively for him, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Hon. Uko Nkole, Prince Eric Aso Kalu and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar comes 16th February and 2nd March.
Responding, Senator Mao Arukwe Ohuabunwa thanked the people of Ndi Okereke Abam for their prayers and support towards him and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s led state government and promised not to relent in his vision to Develop the entire Abia North Senatorial District.
Earlier on his arrival at Abam, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa paid a courtesy call on the Chairman of Abam Onyerubi council of Traditional Rulers and the Paramount Ruler of Okorie Ogori autonomous community, HRH. Eze Ogbuka Origa at his palace where he was blessed by the royal father.
