IGBERE Welfare Union, Lagos, Pledges Support For Anyaso’d Political Ambition

Dr Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso was today endorsed and adopted and prayed for by All Igbere people living in Lagos under the auspices of Igbere Welfare Union IWU At a none denominational praise and worship program organized by IWU, Lagos branch. The program with the theme The Power of Worship and Praise attracted reputable sons and daughters of Igbere from all walks of life.

The none denominational program held at Assemblies of God Church on CLEGG street, Surulere was a power packed solemn service featuring praise, worship and prayers.

In the course of the program, prayers were said for the uplifting of Igbere as a community and Bende in general. Speaking at the event, the Lagos president of IWU, Chief J.C Ukoha said that as a body, IWU have contributed so much resources towards building a better Igbere Community. According to him, the Union had always hoped that a day would come when God will plant someone in the corridors of power who will use his position to attract development to Igbere. He posited that Dr Chimaobi Anyaso’s emergence as PDP candidate for Bende Federal Constituency was orchestrated by God himself to liberate Bende and Igbere from the shackles of underdevelopment. He explained that the organization made the decision to adopt Dr Anyaso as their sole candidate for Bende Federal constituency Having seen all that he had done for the. Society with his personal resources.

They expressed confidence that if he could do this much as an individual there’s no doubt that he would perform Excellently when entrusted with the responsibility to represent Bende at the green Chamber.

They assured Dr Chimaobi Anyaso of their total support both spiritually and materially.

Reminding him that Igbere Welfare Union is a highly prestigious organization with very influential individuals as members and so their endorsement of his candidacy will further improve his chances of winning the forthcoming elections.

Dr Anyaso who was highly elated expressed gratitude for the prayers and words of encouragement from the association. He reassured them that he would never betray their confidence and the trust of the electorate. Dr Chima reiterated his commitment towards the development of Igbere community and Bende at large.

He promised to always carry the association along in all his endeavors towards a New Bende.
