Tricycle Owners Endorse Hon Chinedum Orji, Senator Orji, Ikpeazu for Second Term

The Owners of Tricycle in Abia State popularly Known as Keke Napepe on Tuesday endorsed Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, The Senator Representing Abia Central State Constituency Senator Theodore Orji and the Lawmaker Representing Umuahia Central State Constituency Hon Chinedum Orji for Second Term.

In a Meeting attended by the Unit Leaders of the Association.

Kingsley Ekeleme,Abia State Chairman of Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria said they came to announce Publicly that the Union is Voting for Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Senator Theodore Orji and Hon Chinedum Orji.

“We are the grassroot,when we carry people in our Keke,we guide them and urge them to Support PDP all the way.

” We came for you to flag off the Banners so that we can paste them now in our Keke ”

“We came to tell you that we are with you,God has already written it and signed that Senator Theodore Orji is there already, that you are also there too”

The Tricycle owners Association said the Association cannot thank the Umuahia Central Lawmaker Enough for standing for the Association.

“We are Solidly behind you Sir” they Said.

Comrade Emmanuel Itume,a Senior Special Special Assistant to the Governor thanked the Peoples Lawmaker for his Support to the Keke Owners and vowed to ensure that the Keke People in the deep Communities are mobilized to Support his re-election.

Responding, Hon Chinedum Orji thanked the Tricycle Owners over their resolve to vote for PDP Candidates.

However the Lawmaker expressed concern over the exploitation of Keke Operators in Abia State by those Contracted to handle the Revenue.

“The Days are gone when if you are offended,you look for whom to vent your anger,the time is now for Our Mumu To Do”

“When you have agreed something with Government, and they go back to give it to another person who will exploit you and you keep quiet,

” You cannot wake up in the Morning and start taxing people, Know Your Rights…He Urged Keke People.

” Why should you go and allow Somebody add something on what you have agreed to the Government “the Lawmaker queried those in charge of stickers.

He said Governor Okezie Ikpeazu may not be aware of the Exploitation of Keke Operators through selling of Stickers.

Hon Engr Chinedum Orji said he is not against payment of Tax but against any illegal One that is not Captured.

The Majority Leader of the Abia State House of Assembly Hon Engr Chinedum Orji advised the Tricycle Owners to always include all the People Candidates while doing their Posters, Billboards and Banners.

Mr Udo Ogbonna,the Chairman of the Abia State Board of Internal Revenue explained the Official Fees payable by Keke Operators to them.

“The Governor Approved 150 ,40Naira goes to your Union,10 Goes to the Local Government while 100 goes to the State Government” He Concluded.
