We’ve been furnished with court documents showing a lawsuit filed by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP against the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, President Muhammadu Buhari, INEC, Nigerian Army, Navy, Police and the Attorney General of the Federation.
The lawsuit was filed earlier today, barely hours before the 2019 Presidential Elections scheduled to hold tomorrow, Saturday 23rd of February.
The suit was filed because of President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive to security forces to shoot anyone who tries to steal ballot boxes.
The PDP asked the court to determine if the directive was in line with the Nigerian Consitution. The also requested a court injunction barring security agents from enforcing the order.
