Heated controversy and drama trailed the purported raising of a man back to life from from the dead by a South African clergy, Pastor Alph Lukau of the Alleluia Ministries International Johannesburg.

The entire South Africa was thrown into controversy with some doubting the miracle and others hailing the act, but it was soon discovered that the purported raising of the man, Brighton Moyo, 29, from the dead was a sham and stage-managed.

Few days ago, Lukau purported re-enactment the story of the Biblical Lazarus raised from the dead by Jesus Christ; he brought back Moyo from the dead.

Moyo was already in a coffin before his purported dead body was brought to Lukau for healing and he did the ‘unthinkable.’

According to some people who seem to have analysed the videos thoroughly, the modern day Larazus seems to be breathing a lot for a dead man.

Tongues were set wagging, leading to lots of investigation, and the results showed that the ‘miracle’ was staged-managed.

However, after feeling the heat amid claims that he resurrected a Zimbabwean man from the dead, Pastor Lukau has published a statement on Facebook denying he resurrected anyone, instead blaming the man’s family for misinformation.

“At no stage did Pastor Alph claim that he had resurrected the person shown in the video, who was identified by his family as Elliot. From the video footage it is clearly stated that when the mortuary vehicle arrived at the Church premises there was already movement in the coffin.

“Prior to even praying for Elliot, Pastor Alph states that Elliot is in fact breathing. The facts surrounding Elliots death were presented to Pastor Alph by Elliot’s family (as seen in the video footage) and these were then reported as such,” the shock statement read on Facebook.

“During the service Pastor Alph clearly states that the extent of the miracle needs to be verified and that such verification should include interviewing Elliot’s doctor and everyone in the mortuary”

This follows after the ‘resurrected’ man was identified by Eyewitness News as Brighton Moyo (29) who works at timber a company in Pretoria.

His boss Vincent Amoretti revealed this was not the first time Brighton was involved with Pastor Lukau.

He said Brighton once helped the pastor by pretending to be wheelchair-bound and then standing up after Lukau prayed for him.

His employer described Brighton as an intelligent man who leads an interesting life, iharare.com reports.
