…Says Those Who Want Rivers State Destroyed Through Elections Are Enemies State

The Rivers State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bro. Felix has extended a hand of warm felicitations to the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Chief Akpo Bomba Yeeh who defected to the PDP on Monday.

Bro. Obuah in a statement in Port Harcourt described the development as heart-warming, stressing that election is not a do or die affair as the sole import is to elect leaders who would move the State forward.

The State PDP Chairman decried the desperation of selfish leaders in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State who are bent on lording over the State to exploit the common resources of Rivers people, adding that these unpatriotic individuals would stop at nothing to cause crisis and would not mind even if the State is pulled down, all in the bid to install a stooge.

“I have never seen this level of wickedness and desperation of one man who wants to play God and would do anything, including killing everyone who stands in his way”, Obuah said in disgust.

While congratulating the former AAC Deputy Governorship Candidate for realizing that Rivers State is supreme and above anyone’s personal interest and quest to rule by force, the Rivers PDP boss said his action is a wakeup call for others, to set aside pride and ego and join the winning train of Governor Nyesom Wike.

Bro. Obuah assured him that posterity will be kind to him for following the path of peace, noting that the revelations made by the former Deputy Governorship Candidate of the AAC did not come as a surprise, as the character involved at the centre of the crisis is someone who can do anything to gain power.

“Rivers State is not one man’s farm. It belongs to all of us and no single individual can foist a Governorship Candidate on Rivers people”, he said.
