On this occasion of the celebration of Workers’Day, may I, on behalf of myself, my family and, indeed, the entire Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah Campaign Organisation, felicitate with all Abia State working population.
Indeed there is no gainsaying the fact that you have given in your best to oil the machinery of our State’s administrative apparatus. Yet, you wait in vain to receive your due reward.
However, with the signing into law of the minimum wage by our dear President, I make bold to say: “Their is Hope on the Way”. I, therefore, urge you not to lose sight of the better days ahead. We must keep hope alive, knowing that tomorrow is here already and that, with the new law in place, it may well be an act of criminality to under pay any worker or to hold on to what belongs to him.
I congratulate you all on the celebration of this day.
