The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Sitting in Umuahia the Abia State Capital on Thursday Dismissed two Petitions filed by Barr Kelenna Ogbonna of the ADC and one filled by Action Peoples Party APP against the Electoral Victory of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
The Tribunal while ruling on the Two Petitions EPT/AB/GOV/003/2019 and EPT/AB/GOV/004/2019 dismissed the two Petitions over failed Representation in Court on Thursday.
The respondent Governor Okezie Ikpeazu had asked the court to dismiss the matter, as neither the petition nor their legal representative was in Court.
The Tribunal subsequently dismissed the two Cases.
The tribunal is now left with that of Dr Alex Otti and Ogah adjourned till the 27th of May, 2019 .
